BAG OF SUGAR: Pssst! Psst! Listen, we’ve gotta talk — seriously, I mean now.
I’ve gotta teach you a simple math equation:
One regular 20 ounce soda, every day = me, 10 times — that’s 50 pounds per person per year!! Not good.
All those pounds of me have the enormous potential of bringing on obesity, diabetes and heart disease.
YOUR HEART: Must you torture me!? OOOOOOWWWWW!
BAG OF SUGAR: Please, please, please do your bodies a favor: stop your daily diet of sodas and sugary foods.
YOUR HEART: Do drink water and unsweetened teas and eat lots of fruits and veggies, please. If you really need that fizz, get some seltzer. You’ll do me –ahem!– us a world of good.
BOTH: Thank you.
